Baxter's Beach Adventure

So after much deliberation I have decided that this is my best shot of 2015. There were a few other contenders in my stream that I really liked, but for me this image is the one.

 

At the start of the year I set myself the challenge to not get stuck photographing the same long exposure landscapes that have dominated my Flickr page over the last few years. So I decided to focus my lens on my trusty sidekick, Baxter the West Highland White Terrier.

 

We've had so much fun over the past year on our little photographic adventures and I feel that this photo really encapsulates what I set out to achieve at the start of 2015.

 

Looking at this photo never fails to put a big smile on my face. I love Baxter's expression, you can really tell he enjoyed his walk.
