A marriage in Delhi done in the Maharashtrian way with tenets of a vedic ceremony. The groom makes the crimson declaration with a ring in his hand. Married women wear a vermilion powder on their head, preferably in the single hair parting to declare that they are married. Much like the marriage ring worn elsewhere.
