Over the Transylvanian Alps
We had our most difficult day yesterday - 173 kilometers (that's about
106 miles) and almost 6000 feet of climbing (about 1650 meters). Some
of us didn't get to dinner until 8:30 but we still made it. We had one
broken seat bolt causing one rider to get in the van (she got tired of
riding standing up after 20 km!) and one other rider who ran out of fuel
and shuttled in. The ride took us from Victoria to Pitesti, Romania.
