Smash[and Grab] Magazine

Apparently, Smashing Magazine doesn't understand the meaning of All Rights Reserved... I'm really torn because I'm honored to be featured in the article (update: which did link back to my flickr page) and I appreciate the publicity (+9K views) but they didn't even ask for my permission and they have ads up the yin yang bringing them money off of the work of others. What do you guys think?

 

While we're on the subject, "Why your images are worthless" is a great article about the "price-reduction spiral [of photography] that goes almost all the way down to free" and some strategies you can use if you want to try to eek out a living. I particularly like the first one: "Be the best" =D
