Snowy Egret at Sunrise, American River

I love spending November mornings along the American River because it’s one of the few times of the year that Sacramento actually gets some lovely foggy conditions. It was a blissful misty morning spent at Effie Yeaw Nature Center in relative solitude, capturing wildlife and soft light on the landscape that provided a restorative mood boost in nature.
