Important Lesson
Not necessarily the most important lesson of living on a boat, but also not the least: if you're leaving something on the railing to dry, tie it on, don't just hang it. Here you can see Captain Tomo leading by example.
The Whitsunday Islands are situated off the coast of Queensland and are easily accessed from Airlie Beach (halfway between Brisbane and Cairns). Our adventure at sea was a 3 day, 2 night trip aboard Powerplay: the fastest powered catamaran in the Whitsundays. What is included in such an adventure?
Close encounter with mother and calf humpback whales? Check.
Whale breaching? Check.
Dolphins playing off the bow? Check.
Scuba diving? Check (check, check, check).
Best. Beach. Ever? Check.
Great crew and guests? Check and check.
