This is right along the river, right across the from PNC Park. They were filming a movie with Russell Crowe that morning, and I really wanted to go and get some shots inside the stadium, as it is open during the day, but they wouldn't allow anybody to even WALK across the Roberto Clemente Bridge!
However, while I was standing there with my camera backpack, huge tripod and camera, a guy came up to me and said "So where exactly is Russell Crowe?" I respond, "Not too sure." He says, "Well, even if they told you, you wouldn't be allowed to tell me huh? Have you got to meet him? Nice guy?" I respond, "You know, we really can't talk about it! while they are still filming, but don't believe everything you hear about him" We then proceeded to make more small talk about the movie (which I knew NOTHING about, haha) for another 5 minutes or so.
I know, I know, it was wrong of me to impersonate someone of moderate importance who may have been associated with a major motion picture, but I just couldn't resist!
