Still sleeping
Nomada sp. (Hymenoptera, Apidae). Thanks to Bernhard Jacobi and Nicolas Vereecken for the ID! Body length: 12 mm.
(Not so) early morning focus stack taken this spring. I found it at 9:00 AM, and surprised it was still sleeping. 26 natural light exposures at 3,7x, f/8, 1/6 sec., ISO-200. Gear: MP-E65/2.8 on a Berlebach mini tripod and a rail of a bellows, fine steps with a linear stage.
