Oak Jewel Beetle Eurythyrea quercus (Buprestidae) male. Body length: 16 mm. Prepared insect, it is a scene made in studio!

 

The final part of the oak jewel beetle in-flight series.

Photographed with the Schneider Componon-S 2.8/50 enlarger lens reversed on bellows at 3,1x magnification. 0,3 sec., f/4 ISO-50. Illuminated with two LED lamps (IKEA). 119 exposures were stacked in Zerene Stacker with PMax method.
