Floods Germany (after), 06/01/24

Recent heavy rain in Germany has caused major flooding in parts of the country.

 

Take a look at these before/after Sentinel-1 images below.

 

Flooded areas are clearly visible from space in dark blue in southern Sachsen-Anhalt/Northern Thüringen around the River Helme and Unstrut.
