Capitol Reflections

From the photoblog on 12/31/2009.

It's always with great nostalgia that I look back upon a year's end. 2009 is no exception.

This is the last photoblog entry of the year, and it was this year that I stopped posting images every day. I explained in a lengthy photoblog post on why I photograph (perhaps that is my best post of the year).

I had the opportunity to visit six countries this summer: Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and France (where I photographed the engagement proposal by my cousin).

In 2009, I graduated with a Master's degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance from Georgia Tech. Here's to hoping things will turn around in 2010 in terms of my job search.

In 2009, I read around thirty books. I am hoping to read even more in 2010.

There's a lot more I can say in this space about photography and about my life. But for now, I am going to reflect some more on 2009, as there are just a few hours left in this year (and this decade).

Here's to a joyous and prosperous 2010! Happy New Year!
