Colquhoun Street 31-08-2009

Eucalyptus bridgesiana - near Culquhoun Street in Kambah, Canberra ACT.

This Apple Box survived the 2003 fire, hence the mostly black bark that persists on the trunk. Strangely, there is another Eucalypt growing right up next to it - the one with the pale trunk, which incidentally is a Scribbly Gum or Eucalyptus rossii.
