Down but not out in Mali
Maïsha’s husband was hit by a stray bullet when fighting erupted in Timbuktu region. After he died she came to live in Bamako with her 5 children. With the help of ACTED’s cash grants she’s eked out a living selling fruits and fried potatoes. All her children go to school.

Le mari de Maïsha a été touché par une balle perdue lorsque les affrontements ont éclaté dans la région de Tombouctou. Après sa mort, elle est partie vivre à Bamako avec ses cinq enfants. Avec l'aide des subventions en espèces accordées par ACTED, elle vivote en vendant des fruits et des pommes de terre frites. Tous ses enfants vont à l'école.
