Indonesia, Mount Merapi: President Susilo declares national disaster as thousands flee new eruptions
The city of Yogyakarta is being blanketed in a blanket of white ash from the latest eruptions on Mount Merapi. More than 80 people are reported to have been killed overnight by violent eruptions which sent pyroclastic clouds cascading down the mountain, forcing thousands to flee.
