Uganda: assisting refugees in times of COVID-19
Shantal Murangira was separated from 2 of her children after she fled her native Rwanda over 3 years ago.
When they joined her several months ago, she had difficulties proving her parentage and placing them on her government registration documents.
With the help of paralegal councillors supported by the NRC, she finally managed to overcome these bureaucratic hurdles, thus also receiving increased food rations.
