Flavien is one of the nurse surpervisors in Mandima, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, responsible for the oversight of Ebola prevention and control procedures at health centres supported by Save the Children with EU humanitarian funding.
Flavien regularly visited health facilities to build the capacity of health staff, ensure that infection prevention and control measures were being followed, based on protocols issued by the DRC Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).
