Casey's DIner, famous for its steamed hot dogs, originated as a horse-drawn lunch wagon that was parked on Natick Common.

The current structure, built in 1922 by the Worcester Lunch Car Company, was acquired by the Casey family in 1925. The diner remains one of the oldest and smallest of its kind, and is featured prominently in several histories of classic American diners.
