Original etching by H G Webb of 'The Shambles, York'

Harry George Webb was a painter/ etcher whose dates are always shown as 1882 - 1914 , suggesting a short life, however he set up the Caradoc press in Chiswick in 1899 with his wife hesba and continued after the war. I doubt he got married at 17.

I think you will see his wood engravings and linocuts are far superior to his etchings if you look in the set.
