Thoughts of summer and how to build a cheap pond/ bog garden / rockery!
This is what I built last year to give a home to the frogs that were in the garden anyway! By the end of the summer it was home to frogs newts and dragon flies that I hope will be back this year. There are lots of old ridge tiles and logpiles, from the refuse tip, dotted about the garden to provide winter shelters. Added bonus is that I react to cut grass and there is now less to mow :-)
The whole thing is about 10 feet long and 9 feet wide
