Kurust doing it's stuff on Model 1
I got brave and removed a couple more bits .. gulp!.. but it has made the whole job of rubbing down and painting with the Kurust so much easier. I was using Jenolite before but the Hammerite is sooooo much quicker easier and cleaner. Some painting will be required because, if you look at the back section, one of the arms is a replacement from at least 65 years ago and is not cast iron.
This is seriously taking over my spare time, good job we had a typical rainy Bank Holiday!
