Rodin's Eve etch a sketch

I am particularly proud of this piece.

This was based on a sculpture by Rodin titled "Eve After the Fall". It's a marble sculpture located in the Art Institute of Chicago.

I drew this piece in about 40 minutes at the Art Institute, using the sculpture as direct reference. It was really difficult because I had to stand the entire time to create this. My legs and fingers got really tired.

Rodin is an inspiration to me, and I hope this is the beginning of a large series of painting/sculpture studies done from life.

I wanted to use a simple method in shading, and I think it was very effective.
