Rainy day train driver

After nearly 7 years in Tokyo, I've become very used to Tokyo's extremely complex train and subway system and can mostly find my way around with my eyes closed. But every now and again, when I try a different line for the first time, I make the same mistakes as I did when I first moved to Tokyo and couldn't read any kanji: mistaking one line for another (in this case, Keikyu vs JR Keihin), getting on the express instead of the local or vice versa), or just generally misjudging how long it will take to get from point A to point B.

On my first Keikyu line trip (which runs south-west from Shinagawa) yesterday, I was rewarded with this clear view into the train driver's cabin and listened to him talking to himself as he passed each checkpoint on the tracks. I was still half an hour late for my rendezvous, however!
