The wreck of steamer "Sudurland". For two decades from 1935 to 1955 the herring factory kept this village alive. Then the fish catches collapsed and the company as well. To day not much are left besides large decaying buildings, the wreck of a ship and a nice little hotel. And of course the magnificent surroundings. Djupavik, Reykjarfjördur, Iceland.
