What lies within the Forest of Dean?
Lovely sunset in the Forest of Dean, and everything's beginning to get a bit summery (this was at around 19:30 in the evening, and there was plenty of warm light in the sky.
This is the famous bluebell walk near Speech House in the Forest of Dean. You'll notice the conspicuous absence of any bluebells. They haven't quite emerged yet this year in this particular area, so a revisit is in order (I've actually spotted an even more promising location for the classic carpet of bluebells photo nearby).
