Making The Journey Worthwhile

Ventured out in an attempt to do some star photography on Saturday and failed pretty miserably. This shot is taken from the road that goes past Stonehenge. Stonehenge is recommended by The National Trust because of its low levels of light pollution. Unfortunately, and as you can see from this shot, there were lots of high altitude clouds hanging in the sky, which made star gazing next to impossible.

The up side was being treated to this lovely sunset. As my girlfriend said at the time, it's like a pastel painting.
