Convulsatorium

This was a cylinder of thin slats hanging from above, each slat had a vertical row of LEDs.

 

You stood in it, and someone spun it for you. It was really neat, because once it started spinning, you were no longer in a confined space, but in a field of spinning light.

 

It was fantastic.

 

Even more fascinating was watching people inside, as they experienced it. The bright spinning lights seemed to remove dirt and imperfections. They became ethereal versions of themselves, with Buddha like expressions of wonderment.
