Awe-inspiring amazement ...
... about the power of nature – creation

I stood there in front of the four waterfalls and could only feel satisfaction and security in my heart. It was a long-awaited dream that came true here in front of me. I kept hearing about this valley, this place of great power. But when you suddenly stand in front of so much beauty you tremble on your knees. That's what happened to me and couldn't get enough of myself up there. It was a strenuous hike to get there but full of surprises that will stay deep in my heart. I was and am so grateful for the beauty of creation, in which I can always participate as a healthy person to this day. That is and remains the greatest gift for me.
Because of Covid 19 I was and am still not allowed to travel any further. So I rediscovered my homeland and wandered around a lot in my beloved mountains. Couldn't this waterfall arena be in Iceland too? Why travel so far when the beauty of nature is sometimes so close?
Addition: This summer was very special for us, because it rained almost every day and there was a lot of storm with floods all over the country. There was a lot of major damage also in the big cities like Zurich. The positive thing about it – if I may put it that way - was the many special moods in the sky and the large waterfalls, which brought more water with them than ever. As a result, all of our lakes were full to the brim and sometimes they overflowed.
(By the way: On the hike back it rained heavily, also on this day.)
I want to say THANK YOU to my precious friends here for waiting. I know that I'm not always a „nice friend“ for all of you if I can say it that way, because I need a lot of time for myself and my loved ones. Social media is something really new to me, even though I've been on Flickr for a few years. It only took me two long years to even know how it works. Nothing at all happened during this time on my fotostream and I had to find out more about it on the Internet. ( I'd rather be behind the camera than in front of the computer.)
So, you see, I'm of the older generation and not familiar with any of this different medias. Please apologize for this. I'll try my best with the time I have available. I hope to bring some joy and happiness with my latest photography to your home my dear friends. Enjoy life where ever you are.
