*erinnoel* says: to me, this is about as perfect as a "portrait" photo gets. it has so many of the big elements i'm so drawn to in my life and in art... humor, romance, poignancy. all without seeing a single facial expression. remarkable. and it's also a "period" piece, so that just makes it complete for me.

*erinnoel* says: early women in theatre. amazing to me. how challenging it must have been. how strong one had to be. and how little has changed. i adore the pose, the expression, the costume, and again, that it's such an old photo... this just speaks to me.

*erinnoel* says: this photo was dedicated to me along with a beautiful poem by a truly gifted photographer/writer. both of them speak directly to my heart. i love the strength of the subject and the muted tones to give it softness. almost ethereal. completely moving.

*erinnoel* says: this composition is brilliant and i love the lone figure boldly walking into the the picture. maybe into the darkness, maybe staying in the light. either way, they seem fearless to me and i love that.

*erinnoel* says: what a gem of a shot. how many stories we can make up in our heads about what this story could possibly be. i love when a photo or any work of art makes you wonder and think so much. and it's brilliant in b/w

*erinnoel* says: i'm a sucker for romance, what can i say. i also love the addition of the lone figure behind them, watching the happy couple. this has a feeling of an impressionist painting to me. love it.
