The new railway station

This bread-shaped building is in fact the latest development in the field of railway stations: Nothing less than a veritable artificial intelligence, permanently reproducing itself and connecting the new saplings via rail tracks and high speed trains!

Its jellyfish-like hull vibrates and glows in the dark, especially when tickled with gamma rays from the two towers at the left.

That seemes to be the only input necessary from time to time; on the other side a considerable amount of dung is excreted, which is stored in tanks at a derelict side street (at back right). Among farmers this dung is a highly coveted fertilizer, which is shipped worldwide. The railroaders are very happy about this unexpected additional income.

Not so happy are many of the passengers with the newly developed holographic conductors, suddenly materializing in front of them directly out of nowhere and asking for their tickets.

A very sensitive approach will be necessary to persuade the artificial intelligence to focus on other projects.
