Nowhere to GO
A GO Transit APCU (Auxiliary Power Control Unit) sits apart from a consist at the Willowbrook Maintenance Facility in Mimico, ON. Most APCUs were rebuilt from Ontario Northland FP7s. Prime movers and traction motors were removed during the rebuild process which occurred in 1974. An HEP system was installed and the units retained all cab controls. At the time of this photo the units still had about 6 years of service left, so I assume 903 was shopped for maintenance.
