Allegrippus Helpers

Atop the rock cut at the Allegrippus Curve, we can see the constant 1.86% grade up the hill on the backside of Horseshoe Curve. Rarely photographed, but the action is more dramatic and all to one's self. Here, we witness 2 sets of helpers adding their dynamic braking capability to restraint a very long and heavy auto rack train from gravity's pull.
