On the lawn of the Ontario Legislature I just stumbled on this most despicable, obscene and thoughtless display of guns, presented by the Canadian Army as part of the bicentennial commemoration of the Battle of York (attended by Prince Philip this morning). Do we need to give kids an opportunity to play with real guns designed for the sole purpose of killing other human beings? Unbelievable - one step closer to the US's catastrophic love affair with guns.
