1950 Mercury Custom 2-Door

Originally chopped and customized by the late Dick Dean, the Hall of Fame custom builder known as "The Man Behind Barris” and the "Sultan of Chop," this historic showpiece was restored over a two year period to new glory. Now dubbed “Wasabi” because of its iridescent Green PPG Candy Pearl paint, it packs a stroker 383/405 HP Chevy small block and 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission and rides on Air Ride Technologies "Level Pro" suspension. Power steering and brakes, Vintage air and heat and a custom Pearl Eddie Salcido-stitched interior help put this ride a cut above the crowd, enough so that it was chosen as the Meguiar’s display centerpiece for SEMA 2009. - Originally chopped and customized by the late Dick Dean, the Hall of Fame custom builder known as "The Man Behind Barris, and the "Sultan of Chop"
