Nature Visions
Sun dog? No editing, just cropped.
Okay, Laurabeth, this one's for you. I found this recently as I was transferring my photos from disc to new computer. I didn't even remember I had it (I have thousands of photos). I looked, and I took it on January 1, 2005, 8:11 a.m.. I remember the day well, because I'd been very ill with Hyperthyroidism. My mom came up to work that day to help (I'm not that young; it was the kind of job where extra help was great:-). I'd only had my camera (the original Digital Rebel) a short time. This image is #40! I keep looking at it, thinking it can't be real - but it is. I didn't even know enough to do anything fancy at that point beyond point and shoot. As well, southern Utah gets amazing cloud formations, and sun dogs aren't rare there...
What do you all think? Does anyone else have anything similar?
