Spirit of Progress, Three Rivers, MI

We stopped yesterday for lunch in Three Rivers, Michigan and I noticed this terra cotta on a downtown building. It looked early twentieth century and the building has now been converted into a storefront church. This remaining decor seemed a little out of synch with the current incarnation.
