For the creation of foreground, mid-ground and background space, I thought of how I would arrange the pots in my own house. For my main colour (orange) – it stood out in my mind because they would contrast nicely with the variety of neutrals I used. I made the designs for each pot unique. I didn’t want any of the pots to look similar in design.
