lake Chuzenjiko in the Nikko area, early morning. there was a man fishing, standing at the very tip of the shore. i wanted him in the picture, but by the time i set up he was gone... can't have'em all!
it seems one of our (my wife and i) favourite things to do on weekends has become taking a trip anywhere. we just look on the map for a mountain nearby, hop in and start driving. if we're lucky, we start pretty early in the morning (3 or 4 am) and sometimes we catch the early morning light and early bird activity - or lack there of. this picture is from one of those trips. we left at 3:30am and made it to Nikko by about 6:00am. there were lots of people out fishing already, but what a wonderful day we had just strolling around taking pictures...
i recommend the large size.
