Steamed Clams at Kisarazu

Fresh steamed clams as shown in a merchant's store on Umihotaru Island. Umihotaru is a man-made island and stands for "sea firefly." It is the junction where a bridge connects to a tunnel along the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line. This area of Japan is known for its shellfish.
