Spain, Granada, Alhambra at sunset - Christine Phillips
Recently I was fortunate enough to travel the Beautiful Andalucia, an area in Southern Spain. One of the main attractions that draw thousands of visitors, is Alhambra. This image was taken from what is arguably the best viewpoint to see Alhambra from (although, Granada is full of amazing viewpoints and it is worth exploring the others for different angles).
I was hoping for some clouds and a dramatic sunset. Although the sunset was gorgeous, unfortunately in all my time in Spain, I never saw a single cloud at sunrise or sunset. So it is what it is and i am really happy with it, clear skies or not. At the time i was taking this picture, there was at least 500 more people who came to see the sunset at Alhambra.
