Wonders

Sometimes I lie in bed and I toss and turn. I am restless.

I don’t want to sleep.

I don’t want to face the day of similarity and sameness.

But then I remember; I have seen wonders.

There are wonders still to see.

There are wonders to return to.

And then, I drift off to sleep, a smile on my face.

I have seen wonders.
