The Healing Power of Nature
The healing power of the Everglades is never more self evident when in the presence of its wildlife: It’s a fleeting moment but seeing one of the residents of the environment you are in is always an affirmation of the diversity of life found in the park and the luck you’ve had in intersecting with nature. For me, that’s enough to heal any wound caused by places that are NOT the Everglades. The Everglades and its denizens reminds me of the beauty and fragility of the world and how lucky we are to be able to see it an enjoy it… and preserve it.
