Robin Hood's Take for the Day

Taken at an Arabella Models cosplay photo shoot in Tempe, Arizona.

Model: Anna.

Man, I don't remember Robin Hood looking like this!

Strobist info: I am glad I anticipated a very small shooting area, because it was just as narrow as I expected. In preparation for that, I brought two 9"x36" strip banks and they were still almost too big to shoot around! Both strip banks had an Alien Bees B400. The main light was camera right, fill light was camera left, using a 3:1 ratio. A B1600 with a purple gel 8 feet high and behind and to Anna's left was modified only with barn doors. This light was set about one stop brighter than the main light. All lights were triggered with Pocket Wizards.

Light work done in Portrait Professional. Finished with a Digital Fill Flash layer and a Diffuse Glow (substantial small) layer using onOne plug-in for Photoshop CS4.

Canon 5D and Sigma 50mm f1.4 EX DG lens.
