I deeply admire Chaplin.
Not only his movie character Charlie, but the man himself, who, in my opinion, had a wise foresight of the world we live in now.
It's not just quotes from his films that are more relevant today than ever, but the very things he thought, said and wrote when he was faced with the choice of joining the sound film era or continuing to produce silent films.
A time of great change.... on the way to the Great Depression, with all the disasters that followed - he often managed to keep his distance and take a step back to look at the big picture and recognize where we are going...
It certainly wouldn't be the worst thing if we all recognized our inner Tramp and let it out
