Catching the Last Light ⍟ Eͤxͯрⷬloͦrͬeͤdͩ

Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, also known as Peggy's Point Lighthouse, is one of Nova Scotia’s most well-known lighthouses and possibly the most photographed in Canada. Located in the quaint fishing village of Peggy’s Cove along the South Shore, it was built in 1915 and owned by the Canadian Coast Guard.

Although no visitors were allowed inside the lighthouse and a viewing platform was provided, many tourists still prefer to congregate at the base, making it impossible to photograph this beautiful lighthouse all by itself.

This photo was taken more than 30 minutes after sunset, visitors had begun to thin out, but many still remained, no luck in getting a photo of just the lighthouse.

I appreciate your visit; wishing you a wonderful day/night!
