Harvest Moon Rising ⍟ Eͤxͯрⷬloͦrͬeͤdͩ

This year the Northern Hemisphere's Harvest Moon falls on Sep 20, while our Moon Festival falls on Sep 21.

By the time I arrived at Liberty State Park, there were at least 50 photogs lining up the waterfront facing the backside of Lady Liberty. I grabbed the last spot and wasn't in the right angle to capture the moon crowning on the Lady's head or the Lady holding the moon.

Well, I could have if I had a clearer mind, for with just a 0.6 sec exposure time, I could have easily hand held the camera and not be stuck standing on the same spot. It was so windy so all I worried was not getting sharp image, thus did not notice the relative fast (for my camera) exposure time.

I am happy with this shot, but it's hard to unsee what I saw. If the forecast improves tomorrow (40% low cloud is predicted), I will go back and hopefully come home with better composed images. If not, then I shall go back next year! 😊
