After the CNJ's Pennsylvania operation was taken over by the LV, a westbound freight heads up the former CNJ mainline behind four C628 (630-632-634-639.) The Lehigh Valley was using both mainlines on either side of the river heading north. Don't know how I knew this train was leaving or even which side of the Lehigh River it would take - scanner? what's that? - but it's possible that my visit to the Allentown yard tower (where I lensed the LV "pups" from behind the glass) was the occasion for gathering information the old fashioned way...from a friendly employee.
