...is the Northern Pacific's "North Coast Limited", reminding me in its green glory of the Rocky Mountain West. The CB&Q ran these trains separately or together on their Chicago-Minneapolis routing, depending on the season and the numbers of travellers. I believe that all three of these trains did quite well all the way up to Amtrak, at least compared to the grim picture for most passenger trains in America at the time.
