Temporary home

Gyuto Tantric University, outside Dharamsala, India, is nestled in the foothills leading to the Himalayan mountain range. The Karmapa had escaped secretly from Tolung Tsurphu Monastery in Tibet with a few attendants and reached Dharamsala in January 2000.
