elephant hawk moth
On of the parents of the children I teach brought a moth trap to school this week and amazed us with what he'd found!
He left this beautiful one with me to photograph after school - isn't it gorgeous?!
It gets its name fro the resemblance of the caterpillar to an elephant's trunk :)
