I believe in happily ever after.
When my ex husband left me the day after my 30th birthday, after 15 years together, I thought that marriage and me were finished. Alan made me believe in 'happily ever after' again.
Our wedding rings are engraved with the date of our wedding and the sentiment of hope that we both have for our future together:

It's my mam and dad's 37th wedding anniversary today, I hope that we're as happy as they are in 36 1/2 years time!
